| Rob: | "Before the show I was getting a drum check for our soundman. The soundman would yell in the talkback mic: 'Kick,' and there'd be this huge THUD from the bass drum. Jordan came over to the drum riser and sat down. He asked if we all played our own instruments. I said 'sure.' He asked if we wrote any of our own music. I told him we did. He seemed really bent on writing and playing an instrument for the New Kids show." | |
| Mike: | "The Kids were still touring to backing tracks rather than a band. I think they were a little intrigued by our youth and the fact that we played our own instruments. They cavorted rather freely back stage, shooting hoops and goofing around. The New Kids' audience was easy to play to -- 7,000 teen age girls and they screamed at everything we did." |
